Educators are continuously requesting (virtual) sessions with professionals to discuss a range of topics with their class(es). You can stay up-to-date with these volunteering opportunities several different ways:
1) Check your inbox. We'll email you whenever sessions are requested that match your skill set (so make sure your profile includes your many talents!). Also add Nepris to your contact list to ensure the messages catch your eye.
Once you've started to browse, you can refine your search by entering keywords in the search bar or using the filters underneath. You can also easily reset your search by deleting your keywords and/or clicking on Clear Filters.
Signing Up to Connect with a Class
When you find a session that interests you, just click anywhere in the box or on "view details" to learn more:
On the page that pops up, you'll learn more about the virtual volunteering opportunity - the educator's scheduling choices, preferred discussion topics, age/grade range of students, etc. If you'd like to participate, just click the "Yes sign me up as a presenter" button and follow the prompts. Note that you'll be asked to quickly create an account or log in to the site.
