On the day of the session, log onto http://nepris.com. At the top of your dashboard, you will see the session(s) you have scheduled for the day along with a Join Live Session button:
Feel free to get started if you are both online. You do not need a Nepris representative to begin interacting!
You may want to maximize the size of your screen to see the class better. Press ESC to get out of full screen mode and access the rest of your computer. From there you can adjust the size of the video screen window as you would for any other window.
When you mouse over the video screen, you will see menus across the bottom. You can turn off your microphone and/or turn off your video by toggling these icons.
Chats and Questions
During virtual sessions that are Industry Chats, the Nepris moderator will provide assistance for any presentation questions texted by students.
Are the thumbnails and menus in the way of the shared content?
You can minimize the thumbnails and move both anywhere you want. Don’t worry, the classroom will not see these floating objects, just the shared screen!
Sharing your Screen
- In the middle bottom of the menus is a Share Screen option.
- When you choose to Share Screen,, you will get another window. If you are sharing sound (e.g. video or music clip), click on the check box to share computer sound.
- Otherwise, just click Share Screen on this window.
Stop Sharing your Screen
Look for this bar floating on your screen. Click on the red Stop Share. If you are not using any visuals from your computer, you will want to unshare your screen so students can just look at you during the session.
