On the day of the session, log into http://nepris.com. At the top of your dashboard, you will see the session(s) you have scheduled for the day along with a Join Live Session button:
From there you will be redirected to the session's page. If it's within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, a "Join Live Session" button will appear and you can click to join the session:
Feel free to get started if it's a session between you and a class and you're both online. You do not need a Nepris representative to begin interacting! If it's an Industry Chat, a moderator will be on and ready to help support and facilitate your session.
Optimize screen
You may want to maximize the size of your screen to see the other party better. Press ESC to get out of full screen mode (or go to the same location where you will find an Exit Full Screen) and access the rest of your computer. From there you can adjust the size of the video screen window as you would for any other window.
Privacy
When you mouse over the video screen, you will see menus across the bottom (or if you are sharing your screen, they may be in a moveable floating bar). You can turn off your microphone and/or turn off your video by toggling these icons.
Need Help?
Someone not show up? Microphone not working? Need a Nepris team member to help with session?
In the bottom corner of every Nepris webpage (this will not be in your Zoom window) will be a button to contact our Support Team for assistance.
If you have joined a session and need help, then this is your one-click way to get a hold of someone at Nepris as soon as possible. If needed, we can join your session to solve the issue.
Are the thumbnails and menus in the way of the shared content?
You can make thumbnails larger or minimized completely as well as move both anywhere you want. Don’t worry, the other party will not see these floating objects if you are sharing your screen.
Sharing your Screen
-
Sharing your Screen. Most presenters and sometimes classrooms or students will want to share what is on their computer screen to everyone else. To do this, there is a Share button in the bottom middle of your window.
Click on that icon and take note of the next window:
A. Application to Share. We recommend not picking a specific application but keep it on the default of Desktop or Screen. With this default, what you see your audience will see. If you choose a specific application, then only that will be shown to others even if you see more. For example, if you are using more than one application (e.g. PPT and web page with YouTube), then choose Desktop or Screen.
B. Share something with sound. If you are sharing anything with sound (e.g. video), you MUST make sure this check box is checked. If there is nothing with sound in it, then ignore this.
C. Click "Share!" Note - when you no longer want to share your screen (so that you're full screen again for discussion), there is a Stop Share at the top of your monitor (not at the top of any particular window).
