The most common way for students or participants to join in a live, interactive session is by having a computer or tablet displayed on a large screen to a classroom or conference room. However, there are times when a single participant needs to have direct access from home or other location. One common situation is a student in a virtual school who has no physical classroom may need to join directly.
You do not want to have multiple participants login within the same classroom or conference room for the same meeting. You only want one video conference connected per room for a given session to avoid sound feedback and bandwidth issues.
When a session is confirmed, the system will provide an Access Code under the confirmed date within the session page. The teacher or instructor will give this code to the student(s) they want to join remotely. Note that joining this way will afford the participant the ability to be on video and use their microphone (they can keep themselves hidden and muted if desired).
When the student logs into their profile, they will have an option on the left side of their Dashboard to enter the Session Code, after which the virtual meeting will launch.
