Definitely! Thousands of schools use this platform to explore careers and more, so there are always educators looking for new learning opportunities for their students. You can:
- Re-present content you prepared for a session requested by an educator. If you have already put together materials for a session and shared them with a class, you can re-use them in a session with classrooms across the country during an Industry Chat. Just think about what you had covered during the session, and/or even go to the session page (via the "Sessions" menu on the left of any Nepris webpage) to review the types of questions, etc. the educator had asked for you to speak about. Then click on the large green "Offer an Industry Chat" button on the Dashboard page to access and fill out the form that pops up, including picking your preferred date, time, and audience grade levels for the session. We'll share out the opportunity with our network of educators!
Alternatively, if you prefer to connect with a single class, you can also browse volunteer opportunities to see if another educator is looking for a similar session. (We'll also email you if we see a good fit!) - Lead the same Industry Chat on multiple occasions. Some professionals like to offer the same presentation a few times a year (pro tip - aim for different times of day, etc. when leading multiple sessions on the same topic!). Note that if you are logged in and use the left menu on any Nepris page to go to "My Sessions" > "Completed," you can click on "Use as template" to quickly create a repeat of an Industry Chat you have already led or have scheduled - just update with a new date/time and make any other tweaks you'd like.
